Captains Log
December 12,  2011

Hey snowbirds! Welcome back to southwest Florida! The sun is shining, the temps are cooling off and the sailing is
amazing. We've missed you. Put on your flippy floppies and shorts and let's go sailing!

2011 winding down and 2012 is right around the corner! So many of my past guests have come back and sailed
with me along with a whole lot of new friends. Thank You! I hope that is a testament to my great service I strive to
provide. I will continue to provide the best sailing experience in Fort Myers. Also, Star of Orion has sailed many
miles this year and has stories to tell. We've recently sailed to the Dry Tortugas and visited Fort Jefferson and then
over to Key West via the southern route which takes you south of the Marqueses Keys. Three words.....Clear, Blue,
Water. Did I mention treasure?

New this past year.... A brand new full batten main sail and jib from Mack Sails right here in Stuart, Florida along
with a upgraded electric halyard winch for raising it. Also, I've upgraded the most important feature of the boat, the
head (toilet for you landlubbers). Star of Orion has a brand new
electric flushing head. Yep, just push the button and
watch "
it" all go away. I pride myself in a clean, fresh smelling head and the new electric toilet will provide an even
more sanitary facility. You're welcome! To power all this new electric gear, we've also installed 170 watts of solar
panels. Clean, free energy while the sun shines.  Star of Orion is looking as good as ever and sailing even better!.
She is running in top form and continues to impress me and the clients who sail upon her. She always treats us
good. I will continue to do my best to keep her looking perfect and as clean as possible. I've been complimented
quite a bit on her condition along with her amenities. She loves compliments.  Sailing in Southwest Florida and the
Gulf of Mexico never gets old.

Magic Wind Adventure Sailing has been in business for quite a few years and the word is out. We also sail the
newest sailboat in Fort Myers Beach. Through customer reviews, we are a top attraction in Fort Myers according to
Trip Advisor.  Don't hesitate if you are looking for an adventure aboard a beautiful sailboat. Even if your date is
unavailable, we now have a nice little network of sailboats and great captains to help you get out on the water. Of
course you'll want me, but we'll do our best! Ha!

We look forward to sailing with you and ask you to share your adventure with us. Lets catch the wind, slice the
water, chase dolphins, and make some amazing memories together.  There is no better feeling than sailing a
beautiful boat on tropical waters. So give us a call, book a sail, pack your bags, and
Lets Go Sailing!!!!!
