What to expect on the 1/4 Day or 1/2 Day Sail:
Getting out on the water is one of the most relaxing things you can do for your health and
peace of mind.
As we leave the dock, explore Star of Orion and
find a good niche to settle into and enjoy your
sail. As we head out Matanzas Pass into the Gulf
of Mexico, you can take the wheel or pull some
lines and help get her under sail. As the wind
takes over, I'll cut the engine and we will glide
out onto the waters of the Gulf.
It is truly a wonderful feeling when that engine
cuts and you can feel the sails take over. You
feel the breeze on your face, the pull of the sails
pushing her hull forward on the water and you are one with the sailing experience.
